Result On IPTA Appeals Out Tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) students and equivalent who appealed for admission to public institutions of higher learning (IPTA) can check them starting noon tomorrow.

The student admission division of the Higher Education Department said in a sttement here Thursday, it could be done via the website http://upu.mohe.gov.my , hotline 03-88835858 and helpline 03-88835848.

Checks could also be done via SMS by typing UPU RESULT (IC No) by sending it to 15888 or online at http://jpt.uum.edu.my; http://www.jpt.utm.my; and http://upu.mohe.gov.my.

Successful candidates could print the offer lettersvia the website of 18 IPTA while the official offer letters would be given during registration for the 2009/2010 academic session.

They should bring along the printed offer letters as reference documents.

The statement said all decisions were final and that those who did not receive offers by July 31 were deemed to have failed in their appeals.
